“We don’t have this expertise in-house.”
The environment needs competent cloud infrastructure engineering, but maintaining that capability internally does not make sense.
Operations
We can take care of it.
Practical cloud infrastructure engineering to run, maintain and change your environment — without requiring you to become the cloud expert.
Ongoing infrastructure work · planned changes · maintenance · troubleshooting · specialist assistance
You might be here because…
The environment needs competent cloud infrastructure engineering, but maintaining that capability internally does not make sense.
Your team can normally handle the environment, but there is more work than it can reasonably absorb.
Routine infrastructure work should not depend on somebody finding time between other responsibilities.
Sometimes a particular change, problem or technology needs deeper or more specialized expertise.
The environment has grown beyond what you comfortably want to operate internally. No judgement. The requirement changed.
What we do
Operations can handle agreed infrastructure work such as:
Not every engagement needs all of it. The point is simpler: You don’t need to hire a cloud specialist every time you need cloud specialist work.
How much do you need?
Operations does not require an all-or-nothing handover.
You can retain as much control as you want. We can take responsibility for as much of the cloud infrastructure work as you want us to handle.
Infrastructure doesn’t stand still
That’s Operations too.
That may include adding infrastructure, changing networking, modifying IAM, upgrading operating systems, changing backup or recovery configuration, resizing resources, adjusting scaling or changing infrastructure configuration.
It may also mean implementing an agreed recommendation that originated elsewhere.
More than execution
Sometimes you need the work done. Sometimes you need someone who understands why. Often you need both.
Operations gives you access to infrastructure expertise as well as execution.
Practical advice, explanation and knowledge sharing are a natural part of working with experienced infrastructure engineers.
We do not need to turn every question into a separate consulting engagement.
Clear responsibility
We agree what infrastructure we operate, what work we perform and what you can expect from us.
Within that agreed scope, we take responsibility for the work.
If you need a broader scope, we can define that too.
Clear boundaries should make the service easier to use — not make you responsible for diagnosing where a problem belongs before you ask us about it.
Need more?
Complex troubleshooting, specialist database work, Linux optimization, vendor coordination, application-level investigation, integration problems or other adjacent technical expertise may be possible.
Where we have the expertise, we can agree additional scope, responsibility or availability.
Working arrangements
Operations is provided during agreed service hours, within an agreed scope and capacity.
Need broader availability or responsibility? We can discuss what is needed.
The bigger picture
Perhaps the environment needs redesign. Perhaps something appears worth optimizing. Perhaps a compliance requirement needs attention. Perhaps a larger strategic decision is needed.
That’s fine. We have that expertise too.
Capacity
Temporary extra capacity is a perfectly normal reason to bring us in. You do not need to restructure your entire operating model first.
Changes
Maintenance and troubleshooting are only part of the job. Agreed infrastructure changes belong here too.
Control
Operations does not require an all-or-nothing handover. We can define the responsibility that makes sense for your environment.
Operations
One change. Occasional specialist help. Extra capacity. Or ongoing cloud infrastructure work.
Start with what you need. We’ll define the right scope from there.
